To celebrate the recent release of Final Fantasy IX on Nintendo Switch, a new trailer has been unveiled to showcase some of the characters that players can meet, including Zidane, Vivi, Quina and many more. Available now in the Nintendo eShop, the game features pre-rendered movies in high definition and a new booster system with a selection of various modes, such as “high speed” or “no encounters.” You can check out the official launch trailer for Final Fantasy IX in the embedded video below:

I think most people will just use it to get from A to B quicker. Final Fantasy 9 has many enemies that give laughably low exp, so skipping them isn’t a big deal.

Nice! Final Fantasy IX performed well on PS1. I also wanted to play this game on the go and considered it on Vita and PSP but the loading times bothers me. So, I’m glad to see its entry on the Nintendo Switch. I’m hopping on!

If you have not picked up this game yet, please do so, it really is amazing. Sure the graphics have aged but honestly that is offset by it’s amazing story, content, and gameplay.
Not to mention being able to play on the go is huge plus.
My all time favorite Final Fantasy. I’m loving the Switch version! 😍
Will not buy this very poorly done port of the mobile version.
Mobile Port? Pretty sure this is based on the PC version.
No this is the same version ps4 got, which was a port of the mobile version.
