  1. I see SO MANY articles on MNN about Nintendo Switch being best selling console! I’m so glad this didn’t go like the Wii U!

  2. It’s nice to hear that Nintendo’s hybrid game console remains consistent with its brilliant sales performance in Japan. I remember back when the Switch first came out, there were hearsay that it’ll be another flop. But now, it’s the best-selling game console. The best part is that it comes with brilliant titles.

  3. Kingdom Hearts hits 700 K in one week… mario u… still is by 400 K.
Switch rules but i dident outsell the ps4 yet.
    ps4 has new good games.
nintendo do not dominate this week

    1. Estimated total sales for nsmbu Wii U in japan is 1.3 million, you add 400k from Switch port, its 1.7 million estimated.
Production cost for nsmbu is a lot lower than KH3, even more so with the port.
So it is very likely that 400k nsmbu copies made more profit than 700k KH3 copies.

      1. yes… youre right.
but the sales from nsmbu is disapoiting.
okay i will never buy it.
i had it on wii u and thats enough. i thought that the game would sell more

        1. Disappointing whom?
Sure, it is not seeing the level of success as Mario Kart 8 had ported.
But about 1.7 million for one region is not that bad for 2d mario, and most likely both versions did way better on western markets.

    2. You have read it incorrectly. Both the numbers you’ve stated are what they have sold since both titles launched not what they sold this week. KH3 sold 19,265 and NSMBUD sold 34,541. Bearing in mind that NSMBUD came out before KH3 but is already selling more than it I would say that over time it will sell more even though it’s an old game. You’re fighting a losing battle if you’re trying to make any point about PS4 doing better than Switch in Japan.

  4. Great something unrelated to OUR fucking country! We are not filthy slanted eyes hentai freaks we are Americans that know a good game that isn’t hentai shit that modern moerans thik is good ! report on ACTUAL news in our country they dont matter!
