Nintendo Has Removed The Wii U Page From Their Website & Wii, WiiWare, DS & DSWare Games From The Site’s Game Guide Section

The Wii U era has long been a distant memory, as well as the Wii and DS era, but as of today, they aren’t as easy to find on Nintendo‘s website. Nintendo has removed the entire Wii U site from their official webpage. Meanwhile, in the Game Guide section of Nintendo’s site, you can no longer find their Wii, WiiWare, DS and DSWare games. The Game Guide, however, does still feature some Wii U games. The North American version of the official Wii site, Wii.com, now redirects to the Switch section of Nintendo’s website.

  1. Well, we had a good run, Wii and DS. Wii U, not so much, but I think you were underrated. Either way… it’s about time XD

  2. Meh. Good riddance, honestly. Wii was fun here & there throughout it’s lifetime, and Wii U was only really good for the first 2 years (maybe 3.) DS was great, though, for the most part. Switch still has a ways to go before it surpasses GCN but it’s getting there.

  3. wiiU was a fantastic console. had some incredible exclusives that still haven’t been imported. i feel sad for everyone that ignored it or hated on it. such a cool system for its time. the low power consumption will never be beat.

  4. Sidious: Lord Vader, can you hear me?

Vader: Yes, Master. Where are the DS and Wii? Are they safe? Are they…alright?

Sidious: It seems, in the wake of the Wii U, Switch and 3DS, they have killed them.

Vader: They couldn’t have! They sold over 250 million unit combined! I felt it! (Vader throws his Switch on the floor in anger)

Sidious: (smiles evilly as he resumes playing 1-2-Switch with Grand Moff Tarkin)

    Vader: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A joke I saw on Reddit by user TheVisitation2019.
