Level-5 confirms a new Ni No Kuni game is in the works

We found out at last month’s E3 event in Los Angeles that the original critically acclaimed Ni No Kuni is heading to the Nintendo Switch on 20th September.

Talking to Japanese business magazine, Nikkei, Level-5 president, Akihiro Hino, told the publication that the company has big plans for the series and that they have another Ni No Kuni game in development.

The Ni No Kuni movie, which premieres on August 29 in Japanese theaters, is part of the plan to make Ni No Kuni into a bigger franchise. This is also why they’re releasing the remaster and Switch port of the first episode in September 2019. Akihiro Hino also stated that the next new Ni No Kuni game will release sometime after the movie. He mentioned that a smartphone app related to Ni No Kuni should be released later on too.

    1. No, you’re not the only one. I just recently replayed the game, and I want a Switch stand alone sequel.
      Hopefully with new jobs.
