Earlier today, it was discovered that an interesting product listing has appeared on Amazon. It was an Overwatch-themed Nintendo Switch case that is being made by PowerA. However, the listing’s About section also said that the product was “officially licensed by Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment”. The listing also said that the product would release on September 15th, 2019. Since its discovery, the listing has been taken down. There is a lot of speculation that this news is hinting at an Overwatch port for the Nintendo Switch. If there is one in the works, time will tell. In the meantime, you can see a tweet relaying the news down below.

If hoes mad about Hero just wait till Tracer is announced for Smash.
Tracer instead of DOOM Slayer that has been heavily rumoured. Now, Nintendos and Blizzards relationship is very healthy. But Bethesdas and Nintendos seem to be healthier dont you think?
( Is Blizzard a company you see tied in with PC gaming? I dont know much about it)
And I mean, at the end of the day, this could be the PC representative that people are saying will be in Smash… But I hope DOOM Slayer gets in instead.
Blizzard is PC heavy.
Cheers to 15 years! congratulations WoW.
Well, i hope this is speculation is true, but there is still no proof if OverWatch is coming to Nintendo Switch whatsoever. it might be in development for the system perhaps. :/
I’m not expecting Overwatch itself, but there have been rumors that a PvE focused Overwatch 2 is coming, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Blizzard made that with a mind towards a Switch version from the beginning.
That’s possible, but I’m almost certain Blizzard said they were going to be bringing more news about/officially announcing OW2 sometime in November. Which would mean I wouldn’t expect it until sometime in 2020. The timings don’t add up in the slightest if the case actually is to be released mid September
Doom guy deserves the spot much more imo but meh, not gonna cry if Tracer gets in (or if any Blizzard rep even makes it in)
Doom Guy would be interest
As I was saying, Doom Guy would be interesting as a character. Gun based special attacks, Smash attacks with the chainsaw, and a BFG final smash!
If that’s the case (no pun intended) and Overwatch is coming to Switch, I’ll be able to take my Moira game to a new platform. I just hope there’s motion aiming like Splatoon.
Reminds me of when the Diablo 3 wall socket was spotted… Before Diablo 3 was announced.
