    1. if they wouldn’t have brought this, I possibly really would’ve canned it sooner or later. Now… I mean I got 10 months to go, enough time to play the shit out of all SNES games and then not renew it, but who knows, maybe there’s gonna be some game in the future that justifies the renewal then. until then I at least not feel completely ripped off as I just bought it for Mario Maker and asking myself if that was really worth it. Nintendo didn’t even care to support mario Maker with Web-based ratings and a database like they did with MM1, where I didn’t have to pay for online.

  1. I already 100% The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Going to work on Super Mario World and Super Metroid next. But definitely will play the others too. Especially Star Fox, Super Mario Kart, Pilotwings, F-Zero, Demon’s Crest, and others. Looking forward to the new additions too, as they come in monthly.

    1. Yoshi’s Island might still be my favorite SNES game of all time. Even as a kid it was like an opera of great gameplay choices and clever leveldesign and ever since I was begging for a Yoshi game that would do it justice. I nearly bought Crafted World just to have some Yoshi fix, but realized it wasn’t even as good as Wooly World (which was quite fine but nothing compared to Island). I couldn’t point my finger at what made Island such a great experience. Maybe it was just me being in an age where things felt more innovative and lasting to me. But I kinda doubt that as the games that came after it just lacked a huge portion of dedication and sould. Wooly World was by far the best attempt but it just didn’t bring anything new to the table in terms of structure. When you beat the first world, you could already imagine how the rest of the game was going to be. Always the same structure and the whole finale was uninspired. this franchise could do so much more now.

  2. I need to tell my cousin about this so he can get him & his family a Switch again so we can play Super Mario Kart like in the old days. The only downside is it’ll be over online play for the time being since he’s in another state. The other downside is having to deal with that little bastard Toad again as he was always that thorn in our side when we played the game back then. xD In fact, when he was staying with us for a short time this past summer, I showed him & his girlfriend that Toad was practically flipping people off in his original Super Mario Bros sprite. Yeah; Toad was actually a gigantic dick back in the day! lol
