The latest UK charts are now in and it has been a very slow week for software at retail. Last week’s new release Astral Chain, which made its debut at No.1, has sadly slipped this week to No.11 and topping the chart’s this week is NBA 2K20. Sales for the game were a third lower compared to the previous entry, NBA 2K19. Here’s the UKIE/GfK Top Ten for the week ending 7th September:
Last Week | This Week | Title |
---|---|---|
New Entry | 1 | NBA 2K20 |
Re-Entry | 2 | Spyro Reignited Trilogy |
3 | 3 | The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan |
5 | 4 | Mario Kart 8: Deluxe |
6 | 5 | Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled |
8 | 6 | Marvel’s Spider-Man |
7 | 7 | Super Mario Maker 2 |
11 | 8 | FIFA 19 |
New Entry | 9 | Catherine: Full Body |
2 | 10 | Wreckfest |
2k at the top 🤦♂️ when will this plague end ?!

2K would have been a great alternative to EA some day but sadly they have started to be just as fucking bad as EA, if not worse. Same with Rockstar Studios. Why are so many American companies going fucking stupid? If it’s not nickel & diming bullshit, it’s fucking far left bullshit!

Well, Astral Chain does seem a bit more niche than what’s in the top 10, on top of being brand new with unknown establishing potential (by which I mean, it going on to become a series with multiple games). Understandable that it slipped a bit.
