There’s a port of the Game Boy Colour game Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland Retro coming to the Nintendo Switch. The news was announced today by the team at Square Enix during this week’s Tokyo Game Show 2019. Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland Retro will be available in Japan on 17th September and costs 1,500 Yen. You can either play the game with colour or monochrome visuals, which is rather neat. Check out the screenshots below to get an idea of how it works.

  1. This is cool, I hope it comes to the West. This was actually my first ever Dragon Quest game that I played (known as Dragon Warrior here in the States). I remember ragging on it at the time and calling it a Pokemon knockoff, but I have so much nostalgia for it now that I am a huge Dragon Quest fan. I loved that the game had music tracks from every Dragon Quest game released up to that point.
