It’s Monday and that means it is time to have a look at the latest software sales in the United Kingdom. The Nintendo Switch continues to go from strength to strength and the recently released The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening has shot to the top of the charts dethroning the multiplatform title, Borderlands 3. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is now the fastest-selling Nintendo Switch game released this year in the UK. It should also be noted that Link’s Awakening is also the most successful Zelda remake so far. Here is the UKIE/GfK Top Ten for the week ending 21st September:

Cool. This game is great.
I expect the switch lite is gona boost more sales.
With Pokemon around the corner too, Nintendo are gona rule again this Christmas.
Could be a different story this time next year though.
Unless Nintendo manages to release the sequel to BOTW next year. That would be sick! Though it isn’t very likely to happen xD

I wouldn’t be surprised if it were a factor. Though the time from 4 to 5 was 5 years, and they released RDD2 in the meantime. If most resources went into that during this time that’s probably another factor.
