Geoff Keighley will be skipping E3 2020

Famed video game event presenter and journalist Geoff Keighley has announced that he won’t be participating at E3 2020 this June. This is the first time in 25 years which Keighley won’t be present or presenting. He doesn’t feel happy with the event and this could be seen as yet another nail in E3’s coffin. Nintendo has yet to announce their plans for this year’s event.

  1. So e3 is dying I guess because at this point everything can be obtained through digital format, there`s kinda no point to pay so much money to go this event unless you want to play early access with certain games, but even than nintendo and other companies have ways of inviting journalists and other types of media to get an early access to there games, so in other words e3 has no reason to actually exist anymore dang it’s a shame that advancements in technology will always manage to kill off something

  2. Well, he did let Reggie host the Game Awards. So, looks like Nintendo is gonna take the crown once again since Sony will be skipping this year E-3 and possibly getting ready for the PS5 big reveal and accessories with it.

  3. I feel there’s something Geoff isn’t telling us. Are the founders of E3 or the LA Convention Center taking advantage of developers and journalists in any way? Unfair costs to rent booth space? Poor treatment of indie developers? Not enough opportunities to endorse Mountain Dew or Doritos?

This year E3 is kinda lame. If it is also true that Nintendo is not gonna be at E3 then I don’t see the point of watching the event.
