Japan: The latest Famitsu video game software and hardware charts

We now have the full Famitsu video game software and hardware chart data from Japan. As we previously reported, Animal Crossing: New Horizons had an incredible debut shifting a staggering 1.88 million copies in just three days. Nintendo Switch hardware sales also saw a huge boost with 392K units sold. There’s currently nine Nintendo Switch games in the top ten this week.

  1. Is Japan not affected by the coronavirus? I’m amazed at the amount of games sold considering Famitsu doesn’t count digital sales!
