Saber Interactive has confirmed this afternoon that the popular Zombie title World War Z will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. A release date for the Switch version wasn’t mentioned. However, the team says that getting the game up and running to optimum levels on Nintendo Switch has been the hardest thing they have ever had to do as a team.
Keep in mind that we are rendering scenes with hundreds of enemies and four players online. Getting this to run on the Switch is the hardest thing that we have had to do – this is true even though we are porting our own [Swarm] engine over to the platform.”
Thanks to Christopher B for the news tip!
Oh boy if it weren’t the guys that ported The Witcher 3 to switch I’d say it could end up worse than Ark.
However it might be playable if it’s these guys.
still not worth double dipping for this game and it’s certainly not worth paying 60 Euros for it which will probably be the case.
They need to get dead island on switch.
I finished this game in just a couple hours on pc. Not very replayable imo, definitely mediocre. Wouldn’t recommend.

Always nice to see more games for the Switch.
On the other hand, got WWZ free last year with my GPU, before that the Witcher 3 was included… they should have stayed with the latter.
Deleted it after 1h, definitely not worth 60 bucks.
Was going to give this a go on Xbox GamePass (if I remember rightly), but gonna wait for it to release on Switch. I don’t mind paying for the luxury of being able to play it handheld
Not much talk about it atm, but there’s another interesting FPS game in the works called Vigor, that had a fairly different and interesting concept.
Base building, gun crafting and 8-12 player online interaction. Its in Beta atm tho apparently.
