The popular Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch has received a number of patches and with those updates come the unavoidable nerfs. Dataminer Ninji is reporting that the 1.2 patch has seen some bug rates reduced drastically. These include Peacock butterflies which have seen their spawn rate numbers dropped a staggering 80-90%. Ninji also noticed significantly reduced spawn rates for both tarantulas and scorpions. No doubt more nerfs will pop up in the future.
I already barely saw tarantulas as is. Guess they’ve just been purged from my island now.
oddly i have seen the exact opposite. i have seen more bugs then i ever have
I get why they’d do it for peacock butterflies. There were way too many all of the time on my island.
I only caught my first one the other day, and I’ve never even seen a scorpion on my island.
This explains why I didn’t see any bugs around yesterday when Iw as looking to catch some to give to Flick.
Don’t ask what others have done for you, but ask what you have done for others
