Europe: A retail release of Streets of Rage 4 on Nintendo Switch is coming (Pre-orders open)

Update: Limited Run Games owner Josh Fairhurst has cleared up the confusion regarding the original report from French journalist, Joueur énervé. Mr. Fairhurst has tweeted the following about the release of Streets of Rage 4 in North America and Europe.

Secondly Merge Games has announced on Twitter that Streets of Rage 4 pre-orders have opened in Europe.

News has come in today that there will be a physical edition of the newly released Streets of Rage 4 here in Europe. The problem is is that Limited Run Games has blocked the announcement until their pre-orders are fulfilled. The news comes from journalist Joueur énervé. The announcement will come via Merge Games for a European release.

  1. This is typical LRG behavior. They also blocked Play Asia from being able to sell the Asian English copy of Brigandine outside of Asia. LRG treat their customers like garbage.

    1. I agree, they’re scum. I get that the whole “limited run” thing is their gimmick, but 90% of their games are games that no one cares about, yet they try to drive up non-existent demand to scalpers. Then when a cool game like SOR4 comes out where I actually want a physical copy of, they pull BS like this.
