Nintendo UK has uploaded a brand new trailer for its upcoming Nintendo Switch JRPG extravaganza, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. The remake will be available to play on 29th May, so not long to go now. The trailer invites you to meet the eclectic cast of the former Wii game such as lead character Shulk and his companion Reyn and the rest of the crew. Check out the improved visuals and character designs below.
They all sound great although Dunban seemed a bit off, could’ve just been the clip they chose I suppose.
This still has the original VA right?
It does not.
Melia’s voice actress, Jenna Coleman, is now a full-time actress and did not record new lines for the game. The trailer confirms Melia’s voice is not at all the same as it was back in 2011. So yeah, not the same crew.
Everyone looks better except Reyn… I don’t know why, but his updated design just looks off to me.
