Dragon Ball FighterZ has now sold over five million copies

Bandai Namco has revealed today that the gorgeous Dragon Ball FighterZ has sold over five million copies worldwide. To commemorate the milestone the team says that they will gift three special lobby characters which are:

  • Android 21 Special 01
  • Goku (SSGSS) Special 01
  • Vegita (SSGSS) Special 01

You can also claim a generous five million Zeni. All you need to do is log in anytime between 21st May at 12:00 JST and 28th May at 23:59 JST.

  1. Great. Now can we make a sequel that focuses more on the neutral game and less on combo strings? An issue of taste, I know, but there are lots and lots of combo string focused fighters on the market already.

  2. That’s quite impressive. However, not to be THAT guy, but the game is insanely cheap most of the time. It’s frequently on sale for $15. This game makes most of its money through DLC, so the low cost of entry aids this, hence the large number of sales. A classic “games as a service” approach.
