Details surrounding Nintendo’s 80th annual General Meeting of Shareholders have surfaced on the official Nintendo Japan website and, as expected, there are some strict rules in place due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Nintendo has also confirmed that it will be taking place on June 26th at their headquarters in Kyoto. As well as the meeting being shortened, attendees are urged to vote online or via mail. Here are the measures that are being implemented to help keep the attendees safe:
1. The meeting will be shortened overall, including the number of questions allowed to be asked by the audience
2. Less total participants will be permitted, and the number of seats will be reduced
3. AGM merchandise will not be distributed
4. Wearing face masks is a requirement for all attendees
5. Anyone that appears unwell will be turned away, and will not be allowed into the building
6. All voting by the shareholders is recommended to be done online or by mail-in
7. Measures are subject to change, and all new information will be provided on the Nintendo investor relations webpage

I miss seeing articles (and videos) about Shigeru Miyamoto. It seems like such a long time since I’ve heard anything about him. Even in the Directs, he never seems to appear anymore (not since Iwata passed away). Sometimes it feels like he retired or something.
