The new Jungle Awakens DLC for Minecraft Dungeons, which is available on Nintendo Switch, is out now and Nintendo of Europe has tweeted a launch trailer for the expansion. This marks the release of the first DLC pack for Minecraft Dungeons with the second helping of extra content, named Creeping Winter, arriving later in the year. Here’s what the new expansion has to offer:
- Fight through 3 new missions
- Battle the Leapleaf and Whisperer
- New weapons, armour, and artifacts
As well as the Jungle Awakens DLC, Mojang has also stated that the game will receive some free content too. All you have to do is update your game:
To celebrate the release of Jungle Awakens, we’re also adding some extra content to the Minecraft Dungeons base game – free of charge. This content can be downloaded by updating the game and contains:
- A free map: Lower Temple
- A new threat level per difficulty: Unlocks higher-powered gear and additional challenges for the end-game content
- New gear: Battlestaff and Dual Crossbows, plus two unique versions of each of them
- Balance changes to various items
