Nintendo’s recent corporate management policy briefing took place this morning in Japan and with it comes the news that the Kyoto-based company has now surpassed 26 million Nintendo Switch Online subscribers which is quite an achievement. What is even bigger news is the fact that there are now over 200 million Nintendo Accounts. The amount of Nintendo Accounts more than doubled due to Mario Kart Tour which saw more Nintendo Accounts created than the Nintendo Switch launch.

Wow so much for the Switch is a single user console.
If these numbers are anything to go by, the average number of users is more than 3 players per Switch.
Ignore this I miscalculated this
Not so sure I’d get all the way to that conclusion. My Switch is a single user console, and I have 4 accounts on it. A primary, one under my twitch username, and two for relatives who borrowed the system for a short time at one point or another.
True though I doubt that a big number is players have several accounts. Perhaps 20% of the total Switch owners
I wonder how many member does PlayStation Network has.
There sure are a lot of people who love things I have no interest in. Such as online gaming.
