Since the Firework’s update, there’s not really been much else said from Nintendo when it comes to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. But as the hype and buzz around Mario’s 35th Anniversary celebrations quieten down slightly, it would make sense for the Big N to shine the light on another popular franchise again. Well, according to Nintendo of Canada’s website – specifically tucked away on the ‘Games with free updates’ page – Nintendo is saying that the next big update is ‘around the corner’.
It’s time to celebrate the fall season in the Animal Crossing™: New Horizons game—which means there’s another free update around the corner. Be prepared for seasonal in-game events and activities, plus some spook-tacular tricks and treats!

Hopefully this means we’ll hear more about Jack’s spooky celebrations and what’s in store for fans, but until then, sit tight and get yourself in the early Halloween mood.

I’m begining to have splatoon 2 flash backs all over again, except at least there monthly updates were good, animal crossing updates seem so bare bones, the only good animal crossing update I ever enjoyed was welcome amiibo, I mean at least in splatoon 2 monthly updates pearl and marina dialouge was always updated, when new horizons gets an update we get like 2 or 3 new dialouges from villagers, and its usually just dialouge for a special season event.
It has always bothered me that Nintendo decided to release the game without any holidays or events included in the original release of the game. I understand why they did that, but for those of us who don’t have constant access to the internet, it leaves them without any reason to get the game.
You don’t have constant to internet? Which country is this??
Meanwhile us in the Southern Hemisphere aren’t getting anything exciting.
I swear, this update better include Brewster, he’s my favourite character from the franchise.
