Splatoon 2‘s Halloween 2020 Splatfest has come to a close. After a weekend of Team Trick and Team Treat battling each other, a winner has been declared. Team Trick got more votes, but Team Trick managed to win more Normal and Pro matches, making them the winner of the Splatfest. A picture of the results, as well as a tweet relaying the news, can be seen down below.

Just gonna point out that on all the Splatfests I’ve taken part in, it’s always been about 51-49, of course with the decimals, but usually only 2 whole numbers in between. This one has about 6 whole numbers! That’s impressive. What I love about Splatoon 2 is that you can know you helped your team to victory and that you all did it together, even if you don’t know them. That’s very cliche, but it’s still an awesome feeling to have, knowing you did your part and you contributed to the win. I was on team treat, so let’s go! I’m ready for that new Mario one as well.

I love Splatfests, but I had a nightmare as regards Wins this time around.
At one point I had a TEN game losing streak! Don’t think that’s ever happened to me before. And I felt I played relatively well. My Win average was down the toilet! Managing to get it a bit more respectable AFTER the Splatfest.
Can’t wait for another one though! I must be a masochist.
