The latest GfK Top 10 charts have been released in the UK today. This one is for the week ending December 12th. It is also the first GfK Top 10 charts to come out since the release of Cyberpunk 2077, and the game has debuted at the #1 spot. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War remains the runner-up at #2.
As for Nintendo, they still have plenty to celebrate about. 4 Nintendo Switch exclusive titles are still making it on the charts. 3 of the 4 are first-party titles. Out of the 4 games, the highest to chart remains Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It has managed to maintain its #3 spot for another week. The full chart data is down below.

And look at that: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is STILL on the charts 3 years and 8 months after release. How are there Switch owners who don’t have that yet?
I’m guessing it’s people buying it with a new Switch, so that shows the console must be selling pretty well. Mario Kart is the game you get with the system it seems
I feel sad that Animal Crossing: New Horizons became so boring to me now. I got to the point where I could barely stand looking at it anymore. I last played it on Halloween and Thanksgiving, and I just couldn’t get into it. My next time will be on Christmas, IF I remember (or have time). Then I’ll probably never touch it again. Though I like the new additions to the game, I seemed to have a lot more fun in New leaf. The island is too small, and the limitations on bridges and inclines killed it for me. I could go on and on about the things I liked and didn’t like, but there’s no point. At least I had fun for several months.
