Bravely Default II releases on the Nintendo Switch in just a couple of months, but if you just can’t wait until then, don’t worry. Nintendo has made the wait a little easier by releasing a “Final Demo” of the game for free on the Nintendo Switch eShop. It contains the game’s first main chapter.
There’s also a special bonus you can get. If you download the game before the launch of the game, you can earn 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points. Nintendo says that the points “will be automatically added to your account within 30 days after downloading the demo”. Nintendo’s tweets confirming the news are down below.
Does the save file carry over when the game comes out?
It probably depends on what this demo even contains. If it contains the beginning of the game, it likely will. If it only contains a random gameplay segment, like the previous demo, it probably won’t.
My money is on being able to carry over your save because the game launches soon. The previous demo was for players to test and provide feedback.
No. Its not the beginning of the game, its a segment of the the first chapter after the prolog.
I have the demo from April. Is this a different demo?
