Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night receives free ‘classic mode’ in January

A game that’s had a lot of support from its developers from launch is Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night which is available on Nintendo Switch and other platforms. It’s considered as a spiritual successor to the popular Castlevania franchise and in January, fans of the title will be able to enjoy a free update that brings a classic mode to the second instalment in the Bloodstained series. According to a tweet from the game’s Twitter account a few days back, Classic Mode is aiming to revive old-school gameplay and it will bring five levels to battle your way through and some bosses will be waiting to be defeated too.

So if you’re looking for a little throwback to the good ol’ days, or you’re just wanting an excuse to dive back into it, this free new patch should help liven things up a little.
