    1. You make the same comment every single week on this thread. What does it matter ?
      For all we know – they are playing Miles Morales – but this title only sells 3,000 copies per week so therefore it is in the top 20-30. With the same idea – they could be purchasing Demon Souls.
      Or guess what mate. They have purchased the PS5 to have backwards compatibility with PS4 titles.
      Here’s another idea – When you purchase a PS5 and sign up – you get full access to 18 of some of the best titles – GoW, Unchartered.

      1. He/she is correct. Why purchase a console for backwards compatibility now, when you can wait for two years? Then purchase the same PS5 when it actually has current gen games, that play like 2010 games with 4K output. Money that for two years can be used on important things like text books, Breath of the wild 2, Metroid prime 4 and or stocks just contemplating. Though I know the impulse of being an early adopter and waiting for two years. Did that with the PS4 and xbone. Learnt a valuable lesson.

        F=ma.

      2. So 22,000 people paid $500 to play the same games from PS4. So why would Activision put Crash Bandicoot 4 on PS5 if ithey can just play it on backwards capabiliity? Is that your answer? Why on earth would people not want to buy an exclusive for the PS5?

  1. @isaac backwards compatibility is just a nice extra. Why would I want to wait 2 years when I want to experience those games now.
    Question for you.

    I’ve been lucky enough to guarantee a PS5 and it’s an amazing piece of hardware. And guess what. The 2 above games are AMAZING experiences that can only be experienced in its true form on PS5. But please, hold off until both the titles you mentioned will not be released until 2022 onwards.

    So you enjoy the textbooks.

    @grunt. If you want the answers. Simply read replies or research yourself. Definition of madness is repetition

  2. Wii u had backwards capabiliity from Wii yet the Wii U sold 13,000 units .
    Wii had backwards capabiliity from Gamecube. But I dont think it sold over 100K because of that.
