Due to difficulties sourcing the parts necessary, Nintendo of Japan has announced that it will no longer offer repairs for 3DS and 3DS XL consoles from 31st March this year. The notice regarding the repairs went live over on the Nintendo of Japan’s official website today where the company apologises for any inconvenience caused. Nintendo also states the following consoles that can still be repaired (LL is XL in western territories) and they are: “New Nintendo 3DS”, “New Nintendo 3DS LL”, “Nintendo 2DS” and “New Nintendo 2DS LL”.
Glad I still have pokemon moon with Incineroar. Faba is better than the psychic guy we got on shield.
What does that have to do with 3DS repairs?
So glad I’ve kept my 3DSXL in pristine condition.
I got like over 30 downloaded games on that bad boy, its basically a portable Arcade lol. Love that beast.
March 31st of 2021 has becomed a cursed day for Nintendo players, Nintendo is nuking a bunch of stuff on thay day such as Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Super Mario Bros. 35, and the port of the NES Fire Emblem game. Now our classic 3DS repair service gets added to that list… when will this “limited release” madness end!?
Oh my gawd that means no more stability updates, let’s pack it up guys the pun train is leaving😔
