Capcom has confirmed today during the Monster Hunter event that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be heading to the Nintendo Switch and Steam on 9th July 2021. The company released a new story trailer showing off the game’s impressive cel-shaded style anime visuals. Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is the sequel to the 2016 Nintendo 3DS title Monster Hunter Stories. You will “play a Rider investigating the mass disappearances of Rathalos from around the world. You’ll be teaming up with a mysterious egg-holding Wyverian girl named Ena who seems to be familiar with your grandfather, a famed Monster Hunter known as Red.” The game launches with three new amiibo which are, Ena, Razewing Ratha and Tsukino. Capcom also announced that if you link save data from Monster Hunter Rise (due on Switch this month) you will get Kamura Garb armour.

  1. I wish they would make amiibo more accessible for this series. Haven’t gotten a chance to buy a single one because they are either being scalped or not available in my area

  2. More excited for this than rise. I’m more of a story guy. The first one was surprisingly fun, I didn’t get to finish it though, I don’t think the two are related in story though.
