
Today is the day when Famitsu publishes the latest Japanese physical and digital video games charts. The charts cover the period of 26th April 2021 to 9th May, 2021 and it was a busy week. There were two big new entries this week which were New Pokemon Snap and Resident Evil Village. New Pokemon Snap was the best-selling of the two games shifting 94,385 retail copies in ten days and Resident Evil Village for PlayStation and Xbox consoles sold a total of 149,884 retail sales in two days. Regarding hardware it was the Switch family which was the best-seller shifting a total of 236,028 units that week. Here’s the charts.
