SEGA has announced via the official Sonic Twitter account that the long-awaited 30th anniversary event for the long-running series will be happening this Thursday, 27th May at 9am PT / 5pm UK time. The event promises to include video game projects, partnerships and events celebrating 30 years of the iconic spiky blue hedgehog. We will be sure to update you with all the reveals!

Hopefully we get a sneak peak of the Netflix show, and maybe sneak of whatever game their working on.

Your right it looks like the intro for sonic colors but its during the afternoon.
Yeah, but I can’t quite make out of that image in the background even so Sonic face was hidden for a second and seen running using his speed while his body glows.
I’m a little bit excited for this but I’m gonna hold my hopes up until I see a full details of the franchise 30th anniversary like the graphics, gameplay and possibly playable characters.
Maybe a Sonic Battle Royal game? Worked for Mario’s anniversary.
