Believe it or not, despite Nintendo‘s gradual discontinuation of features and services on the 3DS, they are still releasing firmware updates for the handheld. The previous one released in November of last year, and it has been 6 years since the last time that the 3DS received an update of any significance.
With this update, announced by Nintendo’s Japanese Twitter account earlier tonight, the firmware has been updated to 11.15.0-47. Although the patch notes have not been released in English yet, rough translations of the Japanese patch notes, along with their pattern for 3DS updates as of late, indicate that it’s nothing more than the usual confirmation that “further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience”.
Nintendo 3DS really brings me back to my old days back in 2011 when I was 17. I have a lot of good times with this system. Good times. Since then, I’m still young as of today.
17 in 2011 dang most of you guys are pretty old compared to me
Well I’m not old and I’m not 50. I’m still young.
Lol I know that haha
Just turned 34 in May. How young ya feelin’? lol
I feel super young I turn 21 next month darn, would have been cool to grow up and see Nintendo during that time period.
So stable the world will end and all 3ds systems will be left floating in space.
Anytime we get a 3DS firmware update now, its either “I have good times with this system” or “stable stable STABLE”.
I’m more concerned about homebrew being BROKEN.
Translation: We are still trying to stop Custom Firmware users.
I new update from 3DS a handheld that couldnt be put down because it was the best.
