Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been updated to version 1.11.0

Monster Hunter Rise is not the only Nintendo Switch exclusive game that received an update tonight. Animal Crossing: New Horizons has also gotten an update, coincidentally around the same time as Capcom’s game. The update is not as large as Monster Hunter Rise’s, and there isn’t as much new content that was added, but it is still an update to the game nevertheless.

That said, once you update Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the game should be at version 1.11.0. As previously mentioned, the update doesn’t add much content. In fact, the update’s only focus is on bringing back some seasonal events to the game, similar to the update that the game got in April. The patch notes can be seen down below.

General updates

  • Seasonal events have been updated.
  • The following content has also been added:
    • Additional limited-time seasonal items from Nook Shopping.

Fixed issues

  • Adjustments and corrections were made to improve the game play experience.

  1. They need to have bigger houses, my new leaf house was way bigger than the house on new horizons. Plus shop upgrades. There is so much potential for this game and I think Nintendo will blow it.

  2. So this is the update nintendo wat talking about 2 days ago telling us to look forward to?

I really wanna love this game more but it just feels so barren and incomplete. This is my first animal crossing game and I’ve had to play an older title just to enjoy the series more. Which shouldn’t be necessary. They could add or change so much

    1. No this isn’t the update they said to look forward to they said they would do a big update later on in the months, were just getting dryfed with content from last year at the moment.
