Pokemon’s 25th anniversary continues with Red and Blue music EPs plus new artists announced

Today, The Pokémon Company International and Universal Music Group announced Pokémon 25: The Red EP and Pokémon 25: The Blue EP as part of P25 Music, celebrating 25 years of Pokémon. These two EPs reflect the longstanding tradition of dual releases for the core Pokémon video game series, with each featuring nuanced differences from the other, paying homage to the original Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue video games. The Red EP launches today featuring new artists to the P25 Music program including Vince Staples and Cyn, as well as previously announced artist, Mabel. Pokémon 25: The Blue EPwill follow later this month and will feature remixes of The Red EP songs by GRAMMY-nominated recording artist ZHU.

  1. Fire red is a good game. One of the reasons so is because Hop, Allister and Avery are not on it.

      1. That’s an understatement, he/she says that on literally every Pokémon post. He/she is worse than a broken record.

          1. Yeah I couldn’t help it lol, he’s in literally every pokemon post so I just had to give a sarcastic comment.

      1. Naaaah, have those two show up as allies and have them be constant partners in 2-v-2 battles. That way we see much more of them. In fact, make it so the player has to talk to Avery every time they need to access their Pokemon Boxes and Allister is the one who appears every time you save your game and asks you if you want to overwrite your previous save; this way you have to see them.

Just hurry up and light Avery, Allister, and Hop on fire with matches and gasoline so you can leave us alone already.

  2. The Kanto birds were better than the Johto big cats because the birds didn’t run away like cowards in the game boy era.
