PlatinumGames is presenting more info on The Wonderful 101: Remastered & Sol Cresta during their Super Summer Festival stream this Friday

It has been a while since we have gotten some new information on The Wonderful 101: Remastered & Sol Cresta, two games that PlatinumGames had previously announced. The former released on the Nintendo Switch last year, and the latter is releasing on Nintendo’s console later this year.

Well, PlatinumGames has announced that, on August 27th at 8pm Pacific/11pm Eastern, they will be doing a Super Summer Festival live stream. The stream will be going for 2 hours, and will contain new information on both games. The broadcast will be in 3 parts, with Sol Cresta and The Wonderful 101: Remastered being parts 2 and 3, respectively.

For Sol Cresta, PlatinumGames says that they’ll be “we’ll reveal the first stage of Sol Cresta for the first time as we play along”. As for The Wonderful 101: Remastered, “we’ll share some information about the newest DLC”. Unfortunately, if you’re looking for info on Bayonetta 3, they don’t mention anything about the game in their official blog post, so the odds that the game will be there are not that high.

  1. I’ve been seeing people accuse Kamiya of breaking the kickstarter agreement for The Wonderful 101. Can anyone shed some light onto this as I’m not really sure what the drama is about.

    1. I don’t know if there’s a new drama, but original they didn’t send out the physical copies to the backers. So basically people who pre-ordered the game had to wait months after release to get it. The Kickstarter was always just publicity stunt to get attention anyways, so I’m not surprised they didn’t have anything ready for it. The game was already finished and ready to be sold before they even announced it.

    2. Also, since they completed the ports before they announced the Kickstarter, it meant any bonus content they promised at goals weren’t available at launch. Time Attack has been added, but other content is still missing. I can see people also getting upset about that as well.
