Nintendo confirms it won’t be participating in the Tokyo Game Show 2021, plus here’s the schedule

The official Nintendo Twitter account has confirmed this morning that the Kyoto-based company won’t be participating in the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. The company generally doesn’t make an appearance at TGS but the tweet is basically informing smaller companies who participate in the popular Japanese gaming showcase. The 2021 Tokyo Game Show kicks off on 30th September and will feature big gaming companies such as Square Enix and Microsoft’s Xbox team.

      I’m not saying it won’t happen but why do people say TGA is the only way Nintendo can reveal the last character?
      Nintendo have never relied on TGA for revealing a Smash Bros Character, they can always just reveal it in a normal Nintendo Direct like they did with Isabelle, Terry, and Pyra/Mythra.
      Besides, I really doubt they’d wait that long just to leave it for TGA, the payoff isn’t worth the wait.
