Official logos and achievement icons have leaked for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition

You most likely remember that Kotaku published a post out of the blue stating that Rockstar Games have been working hard creating Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition and that it is set to release on the Nintendo Switch and numerous other platforms this Christmas. Since then the game has been rated in Korea and elsewhere despite an official announcement from Rockstar Games themselves. Now the game’s logos and achievement icons have leaked online and even the source code for Rockstar Games Launcher contains slots for the definitive editions of Grand Theft Auto III, San Andreas, and Vice City. Now all we need is for Rockstar to formally announce a release date.

  1. Very weird choice to call it “the trilogy” when it’s really just three random GTA games, rather than the first three numbered ones.

To be honest, I’d absolutely love to play GTA II on Switch, but I don’t care too much about the 3D games.

    1. I wouldn’t call it 3 random games. It’s the 3 main series GTA games that appeared on the PS2. To many people these are the games that define what GTA is.

  2. Most definitely I spent hundreds of hours messing around, they were unmatched for their time. That’s probably why I’m not too eager to get back lol
