Earlier today, Rockstar Games unveiled full details on Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, which is planned for a digital release on all platforms including Nintendo Switch on 11th November. A Nintendo eShop listing has since gone live for the game, revealing a file size of 25.4 GB.
If you plan on picking up the physical version, launching a bit later on 6th December, the question still remains on if Rockstar Games will dish out the higher manufacturing costs for a 32GB Switch cartridge. Many of the larger Switch titles that have been released in the past, such as Rockstar Games’ very own L.A. Noire, are put onto a smaller sized and cheaper to produce cartridge, therefor requiring an additional SD card download. We’ll update you as soon as clarification is provided.
Big if true.
This is such a great compilation I’d be shocked if they don’t put this all on the cartridge, that’d be criminal. This is more like a collectors edition of games so please make this physical and not half, half nonsense, else what is the point in a physical, you could just print off some covers and put in an empty box and you’d have nearly the same thing.
Games like Witcher 3 all on a cartridge is an example that no one should half ass a decent game. We shall see!
I mean, I love GTA San Andreas and Adore GTA Vice City… but not paying £56 for a game that basically looks like babies first GTA clone from the Unity Store, especially with that install size
Fisher price presents grand theft baby toy cars – the definitive collection.
if it handles like gra V then for sure more likely to purchase
I’m glad it’s not subscription or cloud. I’ll be able to download it digital and buy a physical copy.
