Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is getting a physical release on the Switch

4 days ago, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic released on the Nintendo Switch. It is a port of the game that originally released on Xbox and PC in 2003. A remake of the game is also in the works for PlayStation 5 and PC as a timed exclusive. In the meantime, the original game’s Switch port had only been available to purchase digitally.

Well, that is about to change. Limited Run Games has announced that a physical release of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is on the way for the Nintendo Switch and PC. There will be a Standard Edition, Premium Edition, and Master Edition. Pre-orders will be available beginning November 19th, and will last for 6 weeks. The official tweet is down below.

    1. Exactly! I was super excited when I read the title, but then I thought please don’t let it be Limited Run Games. Please! No!

  1. It is in an open release. As many people can buy it as want to. You folks are whining because you don’t like the name of the publisher.

Although Even if this game were a limited release, your criticism would still be ridiculous. Games sold at short print runs on Limited Run, by and large, would not get any physical release at all without the extra interest and lower costs associated with doing such a small printing. Are you so petty and greedy and vicious that you’d rather no one get physical releases than they be a bit more expensive?
