Major new Sonic Colors Ultimate patch unleashed for Switch

SEGA has released a fresh new update for Sonic Colors Ultimate which should hopefully squish some of the bugs and issues which players have encountered in the Nintendo Switch version of the game. The new update brings Sonic Colors Ultimate to Version 3.0 and adds the free Celebration Pack, the choice to switch between the Sonic Colors original soundtrack and the Ultimate Remix version, improved stability, bug fixes, and more. Check out what has changed in Version 3.0 below:

Celebration Pack

  • New free, customizable content for Sonic (Burst Shoes, Burst Gloves, Fireworks Boost, Fireworks Aura)

Quality of life updates

  • Ultimate remix / original music soundtrack toggle
  • Full-screen boost blur effect on/off toggle
  • Tails navigation on/off toggle
  • Full-screen movie playback from the options satellite
  • Improved visibility for Cyan Wisp targeting line

Other

  • Improved stability
  • Updates to specific enemy attack speeds
  • Improved Green Hover Wisp ring dash functionality
  • Improved visibility of Big Chaser attack visual effects on Switch
  • Various bug fixes throughout the game

    1. That’s cuz neither of them are in this game nor in the original. That’s like asking a Pepsi vendor when they are going to fill the Pepsi fridge with Coke.

  1. The moments passed now. I’m currently more annoyed at how they screwed up Monkey Target..God I’ve been waiting for that re-release for over a decade and they screwed it up. So disappointing.
