There a bit late on this train but I guess the smash wave 1 dlc will make it’s way there soon if they keep this up, I still think it’s dumb to rent dlc, renting a full game vs renting added content is something totally different
Yeah, it’s like paying for benefits, but the benefits are actually just commercials for the actual product, and if you actually by the game, and stop subscribing, you’ll have to buy the DLC. Charging us just because they can.

I already have it, but it makes sense for them to add this DLC. Octo Expansion is really good, definitely recommend playing it
Also, hot dang, this is literally the most perfect timing possible for anyone wanting to play this along with Chuggaaconroy’s let’s play of Splatoon 2, as he’s already said he’s starting this DLC in the very next episode.
Marketing. It’s old DLC. Most anyone who wants it already has it. I think this is to incentivize people who haven’t bought Splatoon 2 yet to buy the game.
