Pokemon HOME, The Pokemon Company’s cloud service app that enables players to manage their Pokemon collections over multiple games and generations, has been getting rather outdated recently. Various Pokemon games that have been released in the past year aren’t compatible with the app yet.

Well, that is about to change. An update to Pokemon HOME, version 2.0, is coming soon. It has been announced that the update will add compatibility with Pokemon Legends: Arceus, as well as Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

    1. Probably not right away. To me it seems like it’s part of their strategy to only unlock HOME compatibility for games after a while. I’m guessing it’s to encourage players to actually engage with the in-game content and try to complete their games by trading.

I do hate how Pokémon will lose TM moves when transferred from Sinnoh switch games. Some nonsense about balance in tourneys. If I can only send one legendary and not all the ones I have from Sinnoh, then this service will be quite useless for me.
