Gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live organiser and presenter, Geoff Keighley, has revealed on Twitter that over 12 million viewers tuned into the two hour presentation online via various streams on YouTube and Twitch. The event’s most popular trailers were also revealed the other day with the free-to-play open world RPG, Genshin Impact, leading in views, showcasing the game’s new area of Sumeru for Travellers to explore. The second most popular trailer during Gamescom Opening Night Live was for Sonic Frontiers. The next big gaming event is the Tokyo Game Show 2022 which kicks off in Chiba, Japan next month.
