The latest NPD video game software and hardware charts for the United States are in for the month of August and it was Madden NFL 23 which claimed the top spot in the gaming software charts and the PlayStation 5 which sold the most amount of hardware units. The Nintendo Switch remains the best-selling system of the year, but it seems more supply has started to arrive for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. There are two first party Switch games in the charts this month and they are the unstoppable Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and No.6 and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 which slipped to No.10.

Madden 23 needs to come to the Nintendo Switch, if they want more money, they need to bring to the switch, it’s not fair that other game consoles get it, ea sports is being stingy and selfish with their madden games 😡😡😡😡
Would they be motivated to do that?
I guess it’s your prerogative to buy a severely incomplete sports title at full price and that you have to buy the rest of the game through multiple paywalls with the added benefit of the title looking like an N64 game even on the most beefiest PC.

How is ps5 hardware #1. As far as i can tell u cant buy a PS5 anywhere. They hiked price and literally talk about not being able to make the console.

Why doesn’t the US report have the systems and sales numbers like the Japanese report? And the games period total and lifetime sales?
Sadly they don’t share those details. We only get that kind of information from Famitsu (Japanese sales data tracker)
