The charts are in for the biggest gaming market in Europe, the United Kingdom, for the month of September and hardware sales were booming and up 41%. Sony’s PlayStation 5 remains the best-selling console in the UK during 2022, Xbox Series X|S came in at No.2 in September and Nintendo Switch family of systems were third. The best-selling video game proved to be FIFA 22 from EA Sports, which is always a heavy hitter throughout the continent. Sadly, Nintendo doesn’t reveal its eShop download data, but in terms of physical sales Splatoon 3 was the second best-selling game of the month. Here’s the top ten best-selling games during September 2022.

Mario Kart 8 still hanging on… not surprising, since that game’s crazy good. Sounds like all three of the big console makers are doing well lately, so maybe I’ll be able to find a Series X here in the US someday.
The Xbox Series X is readily available in the USA. Are you in Alaska? The PS5 on the other hand is another story. You have to time yourself with Grace to locate one.

I wonder what would make the Switch #1 again, maybe a new Mario game? This seems like the longest gap between two mainline Mario games.
You think? You should know by now Nintendo is slowest on sequels. They make one game and the sequel comes out 15 years later. Oh wait you said “Mario.” YEAH that’s unusual Mario and Zelda games sequels are made right away.
Amazing how well Nintendo Switch Sports is doing really given how half-baked it is compared to Wii Sports Resort and even Wii Sports. I hope Nintendo see fit to make a fuller sequel based off its success.
Well you not going to want to look at 1 2 switch sales if you think that’s amazing for a bare bones game.
I like seeing Red Dead Redemption at #7, haven’t played RDR2 because i was heavily addicted to the 1st one i literally did nothing or played nothing else. I was max prestige, had all gold weapons and the zebra donkey. Loved the 1st Red Dead Redemption, i completed everything in the 1p campaign had like 99.8% complete and then one mission glitched and the Npc wouldn’t spawn. I did pretty much everything online except get 20 assist in a single hideout.
