NIS America has confirmed that it will be handling publishing duties for R-Type Tactics I & 2 here in the west. This will be the first time that R-Type Tactics II will be available in the west, with both games making their way from the Sony’s legacy handheld the PSP to modern consoles for the first time. NIS America says that R-Type Tactics I & 2 is due to launch in summer 2023 and will have include support for both English and Japanese audio, and English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Japanese subtitles.
