Jeff Gerstmann also says Super Mario Movie is 86 minutes, plus date to own is 11th May

Nintendo debuted the second trailer for the sublime-looking Super Mario Bros Movie animated movie from Illumination to the delight of fans fans yesterday during a special Super Mario Bros Movie Nintendo Direct presentation. Today, Giant Bomb journalist and streamer, Jeff Gerstmann, has reiterated that he has heard that the Super Mario Bros Movie movie is 86 minutes in length and also went on to say that he has seen internal documents which state that the movie will be available to purchase on 11th May, 2023. Of course, these details could change between now and then. The Super Mario Bros Movie is scheduled to launch on 7th April 2023.

  1. Why have they made Mario look so rubbish? DK looks pretty dire too.
    They only character they seem to have got right is Toad….This is why you don’t hire a sweatshop in South Korea to do your animations on the cheap.

  2. I don’t know, based off the trailers I’ve seen the animation look’s decent maybe not as good of quality as other cgi movies but i wouldn’t say it’s all that bad either. Personally i think they could have picked better voice actors, i mean it’s Mario and Pratt’s voice doesn’t do it justice.
