Nintendo has confirmed that the eight new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe courses for Booster Course Pass Wave 3 are now live. You can either purchase the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass from the Nintendo Switch eShop or if you are subscribed to the higher tier Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack you can get the tracks for free as part of your subscription. The new cups in Wave 3 are the Rock Cup and the Moon Cup, with four returning tracks for each cup. Nintendo has also said that a free update is available for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which will allow you to choose custom items in offline races and some multiplayer races.

I know right? They should have done that sooner.
More like chaotic idea I seen someone do an all blue shell match and it wasn’t pretty.
But that’s the whole fun of it. To make things chaotic and new and fresh.
Ive been requesting custom items for ages now. I hate coins in item boxes
Now they just need to let us set how many laps certain tracks are. Rainbow Road 64 needs to be 2 or 3.
I am SO taking coins out of the item box roulette; they don’t belong in them, not when they already litter the tracks.
When will they add rumble support?
The coins in the boxes are part of the strategy. If you don’t like it then work harder to get the double mystery boxes because that’s what the game wants you to do to be successful and allow you to win. Taking the coins away in the race would be cheating in my opinion.
