The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom rated E10+ by ESRB

2023 has a lot of games that are scheduled to be released. One of those games is the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. That said, it would be an understatement to say that there is excitement for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Details on the game have been very slow, but there has been a little more piece of information that has been revealed today. The game has been rated in North America by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board, or ESRB for short. It is the same rating that its predecessor received in 2017, E10+. The rating details mention “Fantasy Violence” and “Mild Suggestive Themes”, but not much else. You can see a tweet relaying the news down below.

  1. I believe these were two of the content descriptors in BotW, along with alcohol reference which seems to be absent here.

Did the bar in Gerudo Town close? How am I supposed to get my Noble Pursuit now!?

    1. Would be neat if we got to return to some towns and they were destroyed. Maybe this implies Gerudo Town got attacked? Doesn’t have to be completely destroyed, but perhaps that part of the town was destroyed in the attack
