Square Enix has announced it is pulling the plug on its iOS and Android Bravely Default game after just over a year on the market. Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights launched on 27th January, 2022, but as we all know the mobile game market is extremely overcrowded and they have announced that the game will close its doors on 28th February, 2023. Players will no longer be able to purchase the in-game currency Mythril and any unused Mythril will thankfully be refunded to players at a later date. Square Enix isn’t done with the game completely as it says that they will release an offline version of Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights that allows users to look back on it the smartphone game’s characters and stories. They say that this will be announced at a later date.
