The announcement of Metroid Prime Remastered wasn’t surprising, but the news that the digital version would be available the same day was a huge bombshell. Since then, despite issues with the availability of physical copies, Metroid Prime Remastered has been doing well with sales.
However, some were hoping to see Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption get a similar treatment from Nintendo. One of them happens to be artist Anthony Garcellano, who worked on the remaster as a contractor. Garcellano said in a podcast video that is no longer publicly available, but reported on by Comic Book, that he is “crossing my fingers if they’re also remastering the second and third game”.
There’s a mistake with the article. There’s no shortage of “Digital” copies.
Thanks for pointing that out! I have changed it for SSF1991 π
Insert buss-gif here with Sickr as the driver and SSF1991 running away xP
Lol Kan πππππ
I really hope Retro and collaborating studios do full remasters for all the Prime games. Take all the time with part four, I want the whole franchise on Switch now.
