Japan: Kirby holds steady at No.1 this week and PS5 No.1 system

The Japanese boxed video game software and hardware sales have come through from sales tracker, Famitsu, for the week of 6th March, 2023 to 12th March, 2023. The best-selling game in the land of the rising sun was Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe which sold an additional 32,132 copies this week. The big new entry for the week was the horror title, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, which sold the most amount of physical copies on the Nintendo Switch placing it at No.4 this week. On the hardware side of things it was once again Sony’s PlayStation 5 console which sold the most amount of units (64,869 units) followed by the Nintendo Switch family of systems (59,901 units) Here’s the best-sellers in Japan:
